Vinod Ramnani 
Chairman and Managing Director

Vinod Ramnani is a first generation entrepreneur and the driving force behind Opto Circuits.

It was his vision and ambition that has taken Opto Circuits from a one product manufacturing company to a global developer and manufacturer of high acuity medical equipment and interventional products. He has been influential in establishing Opto Circuits' as a leading healthcare brand and in shaping the Company's strategies globally. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Engineering College, Karnataka, India.

 
Thomas Dietiker
Director

Thomas Dietiker brings to Opto Circuits extensive experience in business development and a razor sharp sense for M&A. He leads teams across the Group to forge, maintain and renew important OEM relationships.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering from the Technical Institute of Wintherthur, Switzerland.

 
Jayesh Patel
Director

Jayesh Patel has been instrumental in the product design and conception of many Opto-electronic products that have established Opto Circuits as a leader and the 'sole source supplier' for many large OEMs. He has been the guiding force behind the rapid technological innovations that have allowed the company to penetrate various markets and harbor key customer and distributor partnerships.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Anaheim, USA.

 
Dr. Suleman Merchant
Independent Director

A prominent radiologist, Dr. Suleman Merchant is the Head of the Department of Radiology at Lokmanya Tilak Memorial Medical College & Hospital, Sion, Mumbai. He is also a member of the Safety Review Committee for Applications of Radiation (SARCAR), Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Government of India.

A well known member of the national and international medical fraternity, Dr. Merchant brings to Opto Circuits a vast experience and medical expertise. 
He completed his Medicinae Baccalaureus et Baccalaureus Chirurgiae (MBBS) and Doctorate of Medicine in Radiology from Mumbai University.

 
V. Bala Subramaniam
Independent Director

With over two decades of work experience in International markets, V Bala Subramaniam provides operational and resource management skills to the Company. He is an MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (Pune), a certified public accountant, a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA) and an Associate Member of the Cost and Works Accountants of India.

 
Dr. Anvay Mulay
Independent Director

A renowned cardio-thoracic and vascular surgeon, Dr. Anvay Mulay, currently, is Head of the department of Adult Cardiac Surgery at the Dhirubai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. He has been contributing to this specialized field for more than two decades. Before this, he headed the department of Cardiac Surgery at Caribbean Heart Care Hospital in Trinidad and Tabago for three years. He has also been Director of Cardiac Surgery at Mahavir Heart Hospital, Surat and National Heart Institute in Pune.

Dr. Mulay completed his Medicinae Baccalaureus et Baccalaureus Chirurgiae (MBBS) from Mumbai University, Master of Science (General Surgery) from Mumbai University and Master of Chirurgy (McH) - Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from Mumbai University. He received a fellowship in Cardiac Surgery at St. Vincent's in Portland Oregon, USA. He worked as a Consultant Cardiac Surgeon in Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds, UK.
He brings to Opto Circuits his vast medical acumen in rightly determining the demands and needs of hospitals, medical professionals and patients.

 
Rajkumar Raisinghani
Independent Director

Rajkumar Raisinghani is an Industrialist and has a background in electrical engineering. He runs a business producing electrical goods in Mumbai. His entrepreneurial skills have lent great support to Opto Circuits over the years.

 
Dr. William Walter O' Neill
Independent Director

Dr. O Neill is presently the Executive Dean for Clinical Affairs at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine. He specializes in Internal Medicine and his sub-specialties are Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiology. He has been the director of the division of Cardiovascular Disease at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, since December 1987, co-director of the Beaumont Heart Center, Royal Oak, since it opened in May, 1999 and was appointed Corporate Chief of Cardiology, William Beaumont Hospitals, Royal Oak and Troy in 2002. He was named Vice Chair Department of Internal Medicine for Research in January 2003. Prior to joining Beaumont, he was director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an associate professor of medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. He earned his medical degree (MD) from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit in 1977 and completed his cardiology fellowship (FACC) at the University of Michigan Hospital in 1982

He is certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is an author of more than 600 publications. He is an international leader in the field of Interventional Cardiology and in the research of new techniques to diagnose and treat obstructed heart arteries. He is frequently consulted in the development of new devices and technologies.
